Turn your rolling compost bin every two to three days for fastest results. Each rotation introduces oxygen and redistributes moisture through the pile. In summer conditions with balanced inputs, a well-managed turning compost bin can produce finished compost in three to four weeks. In cooler months, expect six to eight weeks regardless of turning frequency.
